What we keep from a booking request

When you send the form on the booking page, we store: your name, email, WhatsApp number (if you give it), number of guests, preferred date, type of evening, your note for Mariella, the date and time of the request, and the cookie choice you had made at that moment. We do not store your IP address.

We use these details only to reply to you, organise your evening and keep a record of the request. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

If you tell us about allergies or dietary needs, we use them only to prepare your dinner safely, on the basis of your explicit choice to share them (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR). Please share only what is useful for the evening.

Who can see it

Only Mariella and the people who manage this website. Requests are stored in our website database, which no visitor can read, and a copy is sent by email to Mariella's inbox. Our website, database and email delivery providers process the data on our behalf, only to provide those services.

We never sell your data and we never send your name, email or message to Google or other advertisers.

How long we keep it

Booking requests stored in our website database are deleted automatically six months after the date of the evening you requested.

The copy of your request received by email in Mariella's inbox is not deleted automatically by the website: it is managed separately and kept only as long as needed to reply to you and organise your evening.

Cookies and Google Ads

Necessary. We save your cookie choice in your browser, so we don't ask again on every page. It is kept for six months, then we ask again.

Advertising (Google Ads). With your consent, we use the Google tag from Google Ireland Ltd. to measure which ads bring visitors and booking requests to this site. Google may set cookies (such as _gcl_au) and receive technical data like the ad you clicked, the pages you visit here and the fact that a booking request was sent. Google may process data outside the EU under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. See how Google uses data from ads.

In the European Union, the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the Google tag does not load and no advertising cookies are set until you choose “Accept”. Elsewhere, it is active by default and you can switch it off at any time.

You can change or withdraw your choice whenever you like: . Withdrawing stops advertising measurement from that moment on.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy, and to withdraw consent at any time, by writing to the email above. You can also complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
